Elviria Town
Elviria is a suburb of Marbella, only 10 minutes to the beaches and nightlife of Marbella, Elviria has long been a popular holiday resort of the Costa del Sol and has wonderful weather all year round. It is home to the five star Don Carlos Hotel and internationally renowned Santa Maria Golf & Country Club. Just 5 minutes away is the beautiful port of Cabopino with its great restaurants and bars.
Elviria village has a genuine heart, complete with weekly market, town hall,
post office, bars, restaurants and shopping centres and is situated just a few
hundred metres from the Golden beach. Just 10 minutes drive to the west and
you are in the centre of Marbella, a further 10 minutes takes you to the millionaire’s
paradise of Puerto Banus and Gibraltar can be reached in an hour, to the east
the well known resorts of Fuengirola, Benalmadena and Torremolinos are easily
reached by car on the N340 coast road.
Golden beach
Golden beach, Elviria stretches for miles ... ... and miles. It is known for having the finest, sandy beaches along the coast of Marbella with good water sport facilities, with around 330 days of sunshine each year.
Shopping
The shopping in Marbella is glitz and glamour with Chopard, Gucci, Versace and Hugo Boss to name but a few. With the town scattered with cafes and bars it's a shopper's paradise!
Golf
The apartment is located right in the heart of the prime golfing area of the Costa del Sol. Closest golf course is Santa Maria Golf and Country Club, only a 5 minute drive away. Parties of up to 12 golfers can be accommodated on the complex – please ask for details.
Travel
Malaga airport is only 40km away, around 35 minutes drive along main toll road (approx 2.1 euros), if you decide to take the costal highway to get to know your way around then this is about a 60 minute journey, directions for both journeys can be found on the ”Getting to the apartment” section. Other details
For the more energetic, the glitzy nightlife in the resorts of Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola and Torremolinos are within easy reach. Parque Acuatico Mijas is a wonderful water park, only 15 minutes drive, near Fuengirola. The caves at Nerja are spectacular, as is the city of Malaga itself. Further away, if you like mountains, drive inland a few kilometres to enjoy breathtaking scenery or perhaps visit the impressive Moorish city of Ronda or tour the famous white washed villages of Andalucia. In the winter months, you can even ski in the mountains of Sierra Nevada, only one and a half hours away by car!
